How do I introduce my dog to Webbox pet food?

Most dogs need time to adapt to a new food. Start by adding a little Webbox food to your dogs usual food, then gradually change the proportions over a period of 5 days.

Should I add water to Webbox Complete?

It is not necessary to moisten Webbox Complete but a little gravy or water can be added if your pet prefers. However the dry, crunchy texture will aid in your dog's dental hygiene.

Can other foods be added to Webbox Complete?

Webbox Complete is a complete pet food that contains all the nutrition that your dog will need, but if your dog prefers you to add a little food, such as Webbox chubs, this is perfectly acceptable. However, you should always ensure that fresh drinking water is available.

How much Webbox food should I feed my dog?

We provide a feeding calculator for the relevant products which you can find by clicking here. Please remember that the quantities shown should be used as a guideline only. Every dog's appetite is different depending on size, age, condition and level of activity. Please adjust the amount given to keep your dog in a lean, active condition.

Is it ok to store an open Webbox chub roll in the fridge?

Webbox chub rolls can be stored once opened in the fridge for upto 48 hours, either in the wrapper or in a sealed plastic container.  However, return to room temperature before serving to ensure your dog gets maximum enjoyment from their food.

Why do I need to feed my puppy a different food?

Your puppy needs to grow quickly, producing muscle, bones and a strong immune system in order to develop properly. A healthy puppy can burn 2-3 times as many calories in a day than a grown up dog!

Is your food suitable for dogs with allergies?

Many of our products are wheat gluten free, making them suitable for dogs with wheat allergies. We also offer our complete food in a chicken variety, which is ideal for dogs that struggle to digest red meats, while still providing all the nutrients you dog needs. If your dog has extreme allergies or those requiring a very specific diest, it is always best to consult your vet before introducing new food.

Can my dog eat vegetables?

Webbox Complete foods contain all the vitamins and nutrients found in vegetables that will help keep your dog healthy. However, many dogs like to eat vegetables as well due to their taste and texture. This is fine, but please supervise your pet while they eat and remember to adjust their food portions accordingly.
